EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
Dr. Karen Hinton has over 20 years of experience in strategic planning, policy analysis, preparing for accreditation self-studies, and process re-engineering in higher education. She has designed and facilitated strategic planning processes, assisted colleges in preparing for regional accreditations self-studies, conducted housing studies, environmental scans, and reviews of administrative structures and staffing.

Before joining Rickes Associates, Dr. Hinton was Director of Institutional Research and Planning at Marist College. Previously she held positions as a Planning and Policy Analyst for the University of Wisconsin System and Institutional Planning and Research Officer at Albuquerque Technical-Vocational Institute.
