SPACE INVENTORIES AND BENCHMARKING A space database is developed to inventory existing space, displaying room number, use, and square footage for all spaces on campus. Space is classified to determine the accuracy of existing inventory; alternative space usage is assessed for use in indirect cost recovery reporting. Benchmarking surveys used to evaluate space and planning options against peer institutions are often conducted at this time. |
